HEA 101 - Foundations of Health, Exercise and Sport 3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. Learn employment opportunities in the health, exercise, and sport professions to include an overview of professions, workplace settings, professional roles, career preparation, certifications and continuing education. Explore the historical, sociological, and psychological foundations in the disciplines of health, exercise, and sport. Examine ethical and legal concerns in health, exercise, and sport.
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
