NUR 220 - Nursing of Adult Clients in Health and Illness 25 credit hours - 45 hours lecture and 90 hours of directed laboratory per term. Develop concepts, principles and skills to care for clients with uncompensated alterations of functioning within biological and psychosocial systems in medical surgical and psychiatric settings. Emphasizes physical assessment, interactions with clients and implementation of care. Introduces alterations in multiple systems. Prepares for roles of provider of care, manager of care, and member within the discipline of nursing. Lab fee $150. Clinical fee $100.
Prerequisite(s): NUR 130 with a grade of C or better.
