ENG 221H - Introduction to Shakespeare - Honors

3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term.
This is an honors course.

This course meets the Arts & Humanities General Education Requirement.

Study representative works selected from Shakespeare’s tragedies, comedies, histories, romances, and sonnets, with attention to historical and cultural contexts.

Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for Honors courses and ENG 101 /ENG 101A or permission of department chair.

Crosslisted: Also offered as ENG 221 ; credit is not given for both ENG 221H and ENG 221 .

Note: Complete and present an honors capstone research project that extends beyond the classroom.
