EET 193 - Fiber Optics Installer 33 credit hours - Three hours of lecture and directed lab weekly; one term.
Learn the theory of operation and function of components found in installed fiber optic systems that include LEDs, photodiodes, and lasers. Learn about modulation and demodulation techniques, LAN architectures and protocols used in fiber optics transmission systems. Apply fiber optic systems knowledge to complete a design project in a real-world scenario.
