ECO 233 - Data, Sampling, and Analytics

3 credit hours - Three hours weekly, one term.
Apply topics from Business Statistics to business and professional situations. Perform hypothesis tests with new procedures involving Chi-square tests, multiregression with dummy variables, logistic regression, and time series. Use a software package to develop data management skills such as sorting, subsetting, and cleaning data. Propose and plan analysis projects. Apply results to improve decision making in business contexts.

Prerequisite(s): ECO 232 or BPA 232 or MAT 135 and eligibility for MAT 137 or higher.
