HEA 261 - Water Safety Instructor

2 credit hours - One hour of lecture and two hours of laboratory weekly; one term.
Prepares the student to teach various swimming courses in American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety programs. Individuals successfully completing the aquatic skills and written exam with a grade of 80 percent or better will be certified as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Minimum age: 16. Lab fee $15.
