NUR 221 - Nursing Care of Children and Families

4 credit hours - 30 hours lecture and 90 hours of directed laboratory per term.
Develop nursing concepts, principles, and skills to provide care that optimizes the health and wellness of one to two pediatric clients and their families. This includes both healthy children and those with alterations in functioning of one or more biopsychosocial systems with predictable outcomes. Lab fee $150. Clinical fee $200.

Prerequisite(s): NUR 131 and PSY 211 with a grade of C or better.
