RXN 212 - Hospital Pharmacy Practice

3 credit hours - 30 hours lecture and 15 hours laboratory weekly; one term.
Learn the terminology, equipment, and principles of extemporaneous compounding. Practice the principles of parenteral admixture services and medication administration. Lab fee $120.

Prerequisite(s): RXN 111, RXN 112, CTA 100, MDA 113 and BIO 230 or BIO 232 or BIO 234 or permission of the department coordinator.

Corequisite(s): RXN 210, MDA 112 and RXN 213.
