CTP 103H - Theories and Applications of Digital Technology - Honors

3 credit hours - Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory weekly; one term.
Formerly CTA 103H - Theories and Applications of Digital Technology - Honors — This is an honors course.

This course meets the Technology Requirement.

Demonstrate knowledge of a wide variety of computer technologies including data communications, computer networks, database systems, computer hardware and software, the Internet and Web technologies, operating systems, software development, and information systems.  Discuss security, ethics, environmental, and social issues related to digital and emerging technologies.  Use hands-on lab experiences to validate knowledge of hardware and software systems. Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for Honors Courses and ENG 101 /ENG 101A
