MAS 212 - Massage Therapy in a Healthcare Setting4 credit hours - 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab; one term. Explore the application of massage therapy in a variety of healthcare settings. Topics include advanced pathology, roles of and communications with other healthcare professionals, medical devices, and assessment tools. Identify client’s limitations of movement, set functional goals, and apply critical-thinking skills to design and implement a plan of care in a healthcare setting. Lab fee $60.
