CTA 110 - Personal Computer Office Suite Applications4 credit hours - Four hours of lecture and directed laboratory weekly; one term. Formerly CSI 121 - Personal Computer Office Suite Applications
Learn office suite software using Microsoft Office. Acquire hands-on experience with the Internet and Web, word processing, spreadsheet, database management and presentation graphics, satisfying computing needs in a range of applications. Integrate data among the different software applications in the suite.
Note: Users with no prior software applications experience are encouraged to take one of the following before taking this course: CTA 100 or CTP 103 .

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Create, edit, revise, and refine documents, and create outlines, reports, and tables in a word processing application such as Microsoft Word.
- Create, edit, and manage worksheets and charts in a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel.
- Create and modify tables, forms, queries, and reports in a database application such as Microsoft Access.
- Build, edit, and enhance presentations in a slide presentation application such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Perform copy/paste, linking, and embedding tasks between multiple office productivity applications.
