DAN 132 - Beginning Jazz Dance 22 credit hours - One hour of lecture and two hours of studio weekly; one term. Continuation of the study of jazz dance styles and techniques. Emphasis is on proper alignment, stylistic development and coordinated combinations. May be repeated once for a total of four credit hours.
Prerequisite(s): Any beginning-level dance course or permission of department chair.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Develop movement dynamics.
- Understand alignment needed for jazz dance.
