ESI 104 - Entrepreneurship: Sales & Marketing for Small Business

3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term.
Gain experience creating an effective marketing strategy using a variety of tools and skills that small business owners need to start and grow their business. Develop a marketing budget, comprehensive marketing plan, and pitch for a small business. 

Course Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Discuss how an effective marketing strategy impacts the overall mission of an organization.
  2. Prepare a realistic marketing budget.
  3. Design a sales process for a small business.
  4. Create a small business marketing plan.
  5. Present a sales/marketing pitch.
