PLS 131 - Comparative Government and Politics3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. Introduction to theories of comparative politics and to data used in comparing political systems. Major attention is given to the systems of Great Britain, France, Germany and Japan. Focuses on political culture and political crises; political parties, including communist, anarchist and fascist; and contemporary political institutions and policymaking.
Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A .
