BPA 162 - Business Communications3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. Study professional written and oral communication, including the preparation and delivery of workplace correspondence, data-driven reports, career search materials and persuasive presentations.
Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A .

Course Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Produce written and oral communication appropriate for a business environment.
- Create and deliver business presentations that inform or persuade.
- Use data, relevant technology and reliable sources to enhance written and oral business communication.
- Demonstrate proficiency in essential workplace communication, including active listening, providing constructive feedback, leading or participating in meetings, and managing conflict in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
- Build professional communication tools for career success, including résumés, cover letters, social media profiles, and networking skills.
