PSY 214H - Introduction to Psychopathology - Honors

Gain a foundational understanding of the major perspectives and models used in psychopathology, including how they shape our understanding of mental disorders. Learn how disorders are assessed and diagnosed using established criteria, and explore evidence-based approaches to treatment and management. Examine key research that informs current knowledge in the field, and consider the ethical, social, and cultural factors that influence how mental health concerns are understood and addressed in practice.

Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for Honors courses and PSY 111 or PSY 111H or permission of department chair.
