CTP 114 - Introduction to Python with AI3 credit hours - Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory weekly; one term. Learn the basic principles of programming with limited or no prior programming experience required. Using the industry-standard programming language Python assisted with AI, explore key concepts such as variables, data types, decision-making, repetition, data structures, API’s, and more.
Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A and eligibility for any general education math course.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to use an industry standard programming language IDE.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform calculations using code.
- Simplify code by implementing decision structures.
- Simplify code by implementing repetition structures.
- Create and use lists and dictionaries for working with large amounts of data.
- Create and use custom modules with functions and classes.
