About Biology Department
Purpose: Prepares students for transfer to four-year institutions offering Bachelor of Science degrees in various professional disciplines.
Range of Occupations
- Entry into optometry, medical, dental, pharmaceutical and veterinary schools
- Entry into astronomy, biology, chemistry, dietetics, horticulture, physics and environmental science areas.

This sequence incorporates all of the student’s admissions requirements for this degree and provides the student with essential notes to guide their success. Biological and Physical Sciences: 8 credits
Computer Technology, Interdisciplinary Studies or Mathematics: 4 credits
Social and Behavioral Sciences: 6 credits
