EDU 133 - Growth and Development

3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term.
Examine the growth and development of children from infancy through adolescence and the influence of development on the delivery of effective education programs. Learn about social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children and the application of theories of child development and learning to education.

Prerequisite(s): EDU 111  or EDU 132  or permission of assistant director/department chair.

Note: Course requirements include 15 hours of fieldwork, which requires an additional cost and a background check.
