HIS 214 - African American History3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. This course meets the Arts & Humanities General Education Requirement. This course meets the Social and Behavioral Sciences General Education Requirement. This course meets the Diversity Requirement.
Evaluate significant contributions made by African Americans to the American past. Gain oral and visual impressions of important issues and personalities of our nation’s African American heritage through media presentations.
Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENG 111 or ENG 115 or ENG 121 .
