ASL 114-Fingerspelling and Numbers3 credit hours – Three hours weekly; one term. Develop expressive and receptive fingerspelling as well as usage of numbers in ASL. Use receptive skills focusing on whole words, phrase recognition and identification of finger-spelled words in context. Develop speed, clarity and fluency. Study number usage focusing on cardinal and ordinal systems, incorporating systems and other independent classes of signs.
Prerequisite(s): ASL 113 with a grade of C or better or permission of department chair.
