BPA 205-Cyberlaw3 credit hours – Three hours weekly; one term. Introduces students to emerging laws of cyberspace. Explore methods of investigating and preventing cybercrimes and infringements upon information security. Discuss laws governing e-commerce and intellectual property protections, focusing on landmark and other cases such as Napster. The class will also debate privacy rights and free speech on the Internet. Lab fee $10.
Prerequisite(s): CJS 111 or LGS 111 or BPA 253 or LGS 253 .
