EGR 244-Digital Logic Design4 credit hours – Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one term. Presents fundamental logical units and techniques needed in hardware design of digital systems including gates, flip-flops, registers and counters, Karnaugh map simplification of gate networks, switching algebra, synchronous sequential systems, PLAs and elements of binary arithmetic units. Required for second-year students planning to major in electrical engineering. Lab fee $25.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 151 or more advanced mathematics course.
