RXN 210-Pharmacy Calculations3 credit hours – Three hours weekly, one term. Learn the essential math concepts and skills that are used on the job by the pharmacy technician. Gain knowledge of pharmacy calculations, conversions, measurements, drug preparations, and application of equations including calculations required for IVs, unit doses and solution preparations for both adults and pediatric patient populations.
Prerequisite(s): RXN 111 and RXN 112 , CTA 100 , MDA 113 and BIO 230 or BIO 232 or BIO 234 or permission of the department coordinator.
Corequisite(s): MDA 112 , RXN 212 and RXN 213 .
