GER 225-Modern German Civilization and Culture 1

3 credit hours – Three hours lecture weekly; one term.
Study the culture and civilization of German-speaking Europe from the Enlightenment to the early twentieth century. Develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Taught in German.

Prerequisite(s): GER 212 or four years of high school German or permission of department chair.
