LGS 230 - Employment Law

3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term.
Study the impact of state and federal laws upon employment relationships. Explore substantive and procedural aspects of employment law, focusing on worker’s compensation, employment discrimination, pensions and health benefits, wage and hour laws, and labor relations.

Prerequisite(s): BPA 172 or BPA 253 or LGS 111 or LGS 253 or permission of legal studies director.
