EDU 282 - Special Topics in Education-Problem Based Learning for STEM

2 credit hours - Thirty hours of lecture per term.
Explore how to more effectively develop Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) lessons with high student engagement. Engage in hands-on problem-based learning activities across multiple topic areas, discover the engineering design process, experience many strategies firsthand, and apply them to student learning. Provide peer observations, self-reflect to apply course content to current practice and learn techniques designed for immediate use.

Note: This course for current teachers will be offered in partnership with the U. S. Naval Academy STEM Center for Education and Outreach.
