ENG 289 - Letter Grades: The Art and History of Letter Writing

Explore the art of letter writing and the epistolary tradition in English, including learning about the history of letter writing from the Classical period to the present and the rhetoric of letter writing as a branch of rhetorical study. Gain practical knowledge of how to write letters for multiple occasions. Students will mail physical letters to each other, their professor, and community members.

Note: Eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A  is strongly recommended.
