BPA 138 - Business and Professional Ethics

Explore the moral landscape of today’s business environment and discuss ethical issues and dilemmas of professionals in business, public administration, accounting and other professions.

Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A .

Course Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

1. Describe common ethical issues that arise in various business contexts.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the professional environments within which ethical dilemmas occur.
3. Explain ethical obligations between employers and employees.
4. Describe corporate social responsibility and its relevance to ethical business practices.
5. Apply moral reasoning and analytical skills for resolving ethical challenges in professional environments.
