BPA 275 - Internship in Business 1

3 credit hours - 15 hours work weekly
A course designed to combine practical work experience with academic learning for students majoring in business or entrepreneurial studies. Objectives are set by the supervising employer, the student and the faculty member.

Prerequisite(s): Permission of instructor or department chair.

Note: Students must have identified or acquired an internship prior to enrolling in the course. Credit will not be given for BPA 275 and also ESI 275. Typically offered OL; fall and spring terms.

Course Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Explore career alternatives prior to graduation or transfer.
  2. Integrate theory and practice.
  3. Develop work habits and attitudes necessary for job success.
