EDU 216 - Technology for Educators

1 credit hour - Three hours weekly; five weeks.
Survey technologies for educational learning environments. Examine the issues and challenges of making informed and creative decisions regarding the instructional use of technology. Learn about the integration of technologies to enhance the instructional process by increasing engagement and appealing to multiple learning styles.

Note: Typically offered OL; spring term.

Course Outcomes:

Identify promising practices related to the use of emerging technology in education to support integration of technology in the classroom.
Analyze new applications for existing and emerging technologies.
Design evaluation rubrics for technology selection.
Identify and discuss relevant issues related to the application and use of instructional technology.
