DAN 211 - Intermediate Ballet 12 credit hours - One hour of lecture and two hours of studio weekly; one term. Further study of classical ballet with emphasis on execution of movement and more complex work and combinations. May be repeated once for a total of four credit hours.
Prerequisite(s): DAN 112 or permission of department chair.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Review basic steps to ensure continued progress in ballet.
- Improve their retention of choreography.
- Demonstrate correct arm and head placement for each level.
- Increase sense of advance musicality.
- Complete ballet terminology written exam.
- Choreograph barre combinations with correct counts and terminology.
