MUS 152 - Class Voice 22 credit hours - One hour of lecture and two hours of studio weekly; one term. A continuation of MUS 151 with emphasis on voice production and technical proficiency. Students build a repertoire of songs in English, French, German and Italian representing various styles and periods.
Prerequisite(s): MUS 151 or permission of department chair.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Review and strengthen/mastery of foundational content in Class Voice.
- Increase skills in notation, technique, diction, and performance practice.
- Increase skills in technical work/vocal exercises.
- Develop proficiency in all major and minor scales.
- Increase skills in sight reading.
- Performance of selected repertoire: classical, jazz, and commercial/popular.
