About Business Administration Department

Purpose: This program provides the knowledge and skills required for an entry-level accountant. Emphasis is on the practical approach to public accounting. It prepares the student for the Comprehensive Examination for Accreditation in Accountancy.

Completion of each of the required courses with a grade of C or better.

Certificate Graduation Requirements


To graduate with a certificate, students must have demonstrated eligibility for ENG 111  or ENG 115 .  See Academic Regulations for all Graduation Requirements.

  • Apply U.S. tax laws and rules to business organizations.
  • Apply managerial finance concepts and maintain appropriate ethical standards.
