About Business Administration Department
Purpose: This program provides the knowledge and skills required for an entry-level accountant. Emphasis is on the practical approach to public accounting. It prepares the student for the Comprehensive Examination for Accreditation in Accountancy.

Certificate Graduation Requirements
To graduate with a certificate, students must have demonstrated eligibility for ENG 111 or ENG 115 . See Academic Regulations for all Graduation Requirements.

- Perform the basic accounting functions utilizing computer applications.

- Examine internal operations to determine the appropriate level of control.
- Apply appropriate business law concepts to typical business operations and interactions.
- Apply U.S. tax laws and rules to business organizations.
- Apply managerial finance concepts and maintain appropriate ethical standards.
