Effective with the start of the Fall 2017 term, Maryland regulations state that students must complete one course in English composition with a grade of C or better. 

• ENG 101 - Academic Writing and Research 1 3 credit hours
• ENG 101A - Academic Writing and Research 1 3 credit hours
• ENG 102 - Academic Writing and Research 2 3 credit hours
• ENG 111 - Composition and Introduction to Literature 1 3 credit hours
• ENG 112 - Composition and Introduction to Literature 2 3 credit hours
