PHY 211 - General Physics 14 credit hours - Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one term. This course meets the Biological and Physical Sciences General Education Requirement.
Discover the fundamental concepts and methods of physics as a basis for further study in science and engineering. Study the classical principles and their application to calculus-based mathematical analysis of physical problems. Analyze topics including mechanics (kinematics, laws of motion, force, momentum, and energy) and basic fluid theory. See Course Fees .
Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A ; completion of MAT 191 .
