EDU 283 - Special Topics in Education- Advanced PBL for STEM1 credit hour - 15 hours per term
Effectively develop Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) lessons with high student engagement. Review pertinent research for problem based learning, experience the strategies firsthand, actively participate with other teachers within a learning community regarding problem based learning (PBL) strategies, and create an action plan to incorporate STEM activities into student learning.
Prerequisite(s): EDU 282
Note: This course for current teachers will be offered online in partnership with the U. S. Naval Academy STEM Center for Education and Outreach.
