BIO 116 - Introduction to Landscaping3 credit hours - Three hours of lecture weekly; one term. Learn the theory and general principles of landscaping with emphasis on the application of these principles to public and residential areas. Discover how sites are evaluated with respect to function, design criteria, environmental conditions and plant selection. Learn the techniques of design and drafting that are used to develop original concepts into working landscape plans.
Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A and either eligibility for any general education math or a score of 27 or better on the Arithmetic Placement Test or a B or better in MAT 005 .
