BPA 120 - Small Business Management3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. Examine the principles and practices involved in planning and operating a small business. Topics include operations and logistics, human resources management, marketing and sales, financing your business, small business accounting, legal responsibilities, and risk management.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe how to manage a small business including human resources, production, operations, and supply chain.
- Explain how to conduct sales and marketing for a small business.
- Summarize the accounting cycle, bookkeeping process, and basic financial statements.
- Explain how small businesses use debt and equity financing.
- Identify legal and regulatory responsibilities of small business.
