BPA 132 - Sales and Sales Training3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. Gain the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to excel in the field of sales as retail sales personnel, wholesaler representatives, or industrial salespersons. Study topics to include buying psychologies, product knowledge, demonstration techniques, handling resistance, and closing the sale.

Course Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify and explain the key stages of the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
- Discuss the importance of ethical behavior in sales and the consequences of unethical practices.
- Demonstrate active listening skills and persuasive communication techniques to understand customer needs and overcome objections.
- Apply a variety of sales techniques, including consultative selling and solution-based selling, to real-world scenarios.
- Identify common objections in sales and develop strategies to overcome them.
