Develop skills and knowledge required of business managers for the practical application of operations and logistics concepts. Examine processes and practices to streamline business operations, enhance efficiency, and optimize logistics to achieve sustainable growth. Gain strategies to improve the overall performance of a business and customer satisfaction.
Note: Students are encouraged to take BPA 111 before enrolling in this course.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Examine the significance of operations and logistics in the overall business strategy and how they contribute to achieving organizational goals.
- Appraise inventory control techniques, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization to ensure a balanced supply chain.
- Compare methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in business processes.
- Identify transportation modes, routing, and distribution network design to ensure products reach customers on time and in good condition.
- Recognize the growing importance of sustainable practices and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in business operations and logistics.
- Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills essential for coordinating various stakeholders in the supply chain.
