CTA 205 - Theory and Troubleshooting Microcomputers 2

3 credit hours - Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory weekly; one term.
Formerly CTS 203 - Theory and Troubleshooting Microcomputers 2

Examine and configure operating systems including Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS operating systems. Install and maintain Windows operating systems. Implement security features on computer systems and mobile devices. Investigate, analyze, and correct common software problems. Explain common operational procedures within the IT industry.

Note: This course addresses the core material of the CompTIA A+ exam objectives. It is highly recommended students who do not have a working knowledge of computers complete CTA 105  before enrolling in CTA 205.
