Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Describe the concepts and regions in world geography.
2. Discuss important population and settlement features of the world, including urban structure and form, rural settlement types, population dynamics, population patterns, and population structure.
3. Describe the influence of cultural coherence and diversity in world regional geography.
4. Identify the geopolitical framework for studying world geography.
5. Compare and contrast economic and social development levels.
6. Discuss the changing global physical environment and how it influences people in where they live and how they carry on everyday activities.
