HIS 227 - History of Medieval and Renaissance England

3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term.
Survey England from the Roman Era to 1603 including Anglo-Saxon England; Norman Conquest through establishment of the Plantagenet Empire; economic and constitutional foundations of the monarchy, Parliament and judiciary; and the Tudor era. Taught as a travel-study course during the Winter Two-week Term.
