HRM 140 - Event Planning

3 credit hours - one hour lecture, two hours laboratory
Students will explore innovations in the special events industry, with an emphasis on design, planning, coordinating, and evaluating events. In this class, students will also learn how to effectively navigate contract negotiations, client relationships, sustainability, security threats and cost-effective practices.
