HRM 275 - Internship in Hotel/ Restaurant Management

3 credit hours - 45 contact hours, 135 internship hours
This course is a planned work-based experience that provides students with an opportunity to fine- tune skill sets learned in coursework and enhance workplace skills through supervised practical experiences related to their career objectives.

Prerequisite(s): HRM 251  and HRM 260 .

Note: Students registering for this course are required to attend an internship information session (date to be determined). Enrollment in this internship course requires that students hold an appropriate internship placement in order to receive course credit. Students will be provided with internship opportunities, however, it is the student’s responsibility to be interviewed and accepted by the internship agency.
