MEC 266 - Mechatronic Systems Capstone3 credit hours - Three hours of combined lecture/lab weekly; one term. Gain real world experience in modification and control of automated mechatronic processes. Learn and review safety procedures and guidelines associated with working in an industrial setting. Complete and present a final hands-on project, which includes the design, building, programming, troubleshooting, and integration of a variety of mechatronic subsystems into a fully-functioning automated industrial process. Lab fee $30.
Prerequisite(s): MEC 110 , MEC 120 , and MEC 130 or permission of department chair.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Perform basic modifications to existing mechatronic systems
- Integrate various mechatronics subsystems into a working process

- Apply OSHA safety guidelines
