PHS 100 - General Physical Science4 credit hours - Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one term. This course meets the Biological and Physical Sciences General Education Requirement.
Explore science in the context of classroom demonstrations, laboratory activities, and the student’s personal experiences. Apply the fundamental principles of physics and chemistry to observable phenomena. Develop critical thinking skills, evidence-based reasoning, and the ability to implement the scientific method. Lab fee $30.
Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A .
