Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of 12 credit hours of MEC, EET or CTS courses or permission of engineering department chair.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Build a resume that highlights strengths and skills as they relate to a job position description.
2. Plan and organize a job search using various resources to evaluate job requirements and their relationship to one’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
3. Project a professional image throughout the hiring process.
4. Explain general business expectations of employee confidentiality, privacy, workplace safety, and teamwork.
5. Investigate strategies and techniques to increase efficiency in the workplace.
