SGT 108 - Surgical Procedures 14 credit hours - 60 hours of lecture per term. Learn the basic format and procedures used in the operating room. Includes a step-by-step process to provide the student with a broad knowledge base and the skills needed to perform as a Surgical Technologist.
Prerequisite(s): SGT 100 and SGT 102 with a grade of C or better.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

3. Analyze the diagnostic and surgical interventions related to a patient undergoing an ophthalmology or ENT procedure.
